Minimum value of TX (TXn)
Minimum value of TX (TXn): annual minimum value of daily maximum temperarture. The unit of measurement is degree Celsius (°C).
The evolution of TXn anomaly (ATXn, difference between the annual value of TXn and the mean value of TXn in the reference period 1981-2010) during the period 1959-2020 is shown for the Pyrenees and for 4 areas of the Massif (Northern Pyrenees, Southern Pyrenees, Mediterranean Pyrenees and Atlantic Pyrenees); for each of the 12 series analyzed, the evolution of TXn index is shown.
The annual mean of TXn for the Pyrenees is obtained from the annual TXn values of 12 representative series of the Pyrenees massif (areas at different altitudes and on all slopes: north, south, east or Mediterranean and west or Atlantic), while the mean value of TXn for the 4 zones of the Massif is obtained from the annual TXn values of the representative series located in each zone.
