Maximum value of TX (TXx)
Maximum value of TX (TXx): annual maximum value of daily maximum temperarture. The unit of measurement is degree Celsius (°C).
The evolution of TXx anomaly (ATXx, difference between the annual value of TXx and the mean value of TXx in the reference period 1981-2010) during the period 1959-2020 is shown for the Pyrenees and for 4 areas of the Massif (Northern Pyrenees, Southern Pyrenees, Mediterranean Pyrenees and Atlantic Pyrenees); for each of the 12 series analyzed, the evolution of TXx index is shown.
The annual mean of TXx for the Pyrenees is obtained from the annual TXx values of 12 representative series of the Pyrenees massif (areas at different altitudes and on all slopes: north, south, east or Mediterranean and west or Atlantic), while the mean value of TXx for the 4 zones of the Massif is obtained from the annual TXx values of the representative series located in each zone.

Bulletin of Climate Change Indicators of the Pyrenees 2020
The Bulletin of Climate Change Indicators of the Pyrenees (BICCPIR) 2020 aims to deepen the knowledge of the anthropic climate change effects in the Pyrenees. Thus, information on the climate evolution is provided through a set of indicators grouped by systems.
