Sprouting of European silver fir (Abies alba)

The indicator is the number of the week of the year in which the bud sprouting of the European silver fir (Abies alba) is observed.

It is calculated from 13 plots of 36 trees each, that is, 468 individuals (the location of the plots is shown on the map; it is recommended to enlarge the map for greater detail). In each plot, the number of the week of the year in which 90% of the trees have already sprouted is obtained; the mean value for the Pyrenees is obtained from the value obtained in the 13 plots studied. Phenological observations of the silver fir began in 2013 in 2 plots and, since 2017, 13 plots have already been analyzed.
